D-Day Journal

William Golding was affected because first he was fighting on an empty stomach. He was watching all the people dying on the boat. He did what he was not suppose to do and that was jump  off the side of the boat. Everybody thought it was smart so they  did the same but some people died because the equipment was heavy. Since they was in the water it was a lesser chance of getting killed but you had to be a yard away from the bullet for it not to hit and kill you. I think man is born with goodness and learns to be barbaric by his surroundings. I think your surroundings has a big effect on your life because if you around people who bully you can also become a bully. So people should surround them self with good people.
